What to Expect During Your First Appointment with Kimmie
Share
Your first appointment is all about getting to know your skin, your routine, and what you want to feel more confident about. Whether you are coming in for a relaxing facial, help with breakouts, support for dry or dehydrated skin, or guidance on products, my goal is to make the experience feel calm, comfortable, and personalized from the beginning.
At Seven Twentyseven Skincare, your appointment is not rushed or one-size-fits-all. I want to understand what your skin is doing, what you have tried before, and what kind of care will best support your skin moving forward.
Before Your Appointment
Before your visit, take a few minutes to think through your current routine. It can be helpful to know what cleanser, moisturizer, serums, exfoliants, prescriptions, or active ingredients you are currently using.
You do not need to have everything figured out before you arrive. If your routine feels confusing or inconsistent, that is completely okay. We will walk through it together and decide what makes the most sense for your skin.
You can also review the Booking Information page before your appointment so you know how to prepare, when to arrive, and what to expect from the scheduling process.
We’ll Start With a Skin Consultation
Your appointment will begin with a conversation about your skin concerns, goals, lifestyle, sensitivities, and current product routine. This helps me better understand what your skin needs and how to customize your treatment.
Some clients come in with a specific concern, like acne, texture, dryness, or dullness. Others simply know their skin does not feel its best and want professional guidance. Both are great places to start.
Your Treatment Will Be Customized
Your skin can change from season to season, month to month, and sometimes even week to week. That is why your facial is selected based on what your skin is showing me that day.
A customized treatment may include cleansing, gentle exfoliation, extractions if appropriate, a targeted mask, hydration, calming support, massage, and finishing products chosen for your skin. If you are booking a Signature Facial, the treatment will be tailored to your skin’s current condition and comfort level.
The goal is to support your skin — not overwhelm it.
I’ll Explain What I’m Doing
During your appointment, I will guide you through what I am using and why. You do not need to know skincare terminology or understand every ingredient before you come in.
I want you to leave with a better understanding of your skin, what it needs, and how to care for it at home. My approach is educational, but never overwhelming.
After Your Facial
After your treatment, your skin may look refreshed, hydrated, and calm. Depending on your skin and the type of treatment performed, you may have some temporary redness or sensitivity, especially if extractions or corrective steps were included.
I will go over aftercare with you before you leave, including what to use, what to avoid, and how to support your skin over the next few days.
Product Guidance Without the Pressure
Your home routine plays an important role in your results, but it does not need to be complicated. I will help you understand which products are supporting your skin and which ones may need to be adjusted.
If product recommendations are needed, they will be based on your skin goals, your current routine, and what feels realistic for you. The goal is to build a routine you can actually follow.
